Homeowners Thoughts -
When I purchased this modern two-bedroom terraced house, built in the 1980s, back in 2004, I recognised its prime location and the potential it offered. It's situated within the highly sought-after Maiden Erleigh school catchment area, with a Sainsbury's supermarket and a local pub just a short walk away in Maiden Place. The house is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, ensuring no through traffic, and it comes with its own driveway parking space.
At the time of purchase, the opportunities for expansion, such as enlarging the kitchen into a spacious kitchen/diner or converting the integral garage into additional living space, were particularly attractive. However, I never got around to making those alterations. Instead, the property has served as a solid rental for the past 20 years. The opportunity to improve and add value is still available for the next owner, allowing them to take full advantage of the property's potential.
Alex's Thoughts -
Whilst taking photos and video at Sellafield Way, I couldn't help but notice how quiet this tucked-away location is a real rarity in modern estates. The potential for an additional parking space is possible too. Inside, the open-plan kitchen and dining area really shines. The seller mentioned the possibility of expanding this space, but even as it stands, it's a fantastic space for entertaining. You can imagine the double doors open to the garden, making it a great indoor-outdoor space.
Upstairs, you'll find a modern bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, both bedrooms (1 double & 1 large single) come with built-in wardrobes.
What really stands out to me is the potential this home offers. The garage is ready for conversion, whether you're thinking of adding in that extra toilet, creating a home office, a playroom, or even a 3rd bedroom with an ensuite!
The seller has done a great job upgrading the property ready for sale with new carpets, fresh paint, and even fixing the creaky stairs to ensure everything's just right.
